At Chi City Bakes, our mission is simple - to bring the community together one treat at a time. We aim to organize neighbors to participate in community oriented and led bake sales that raise funds for local Chicago nonprofit organizations.

Chi City Bakes held its inaugural community bake sale in October 2024! More than a dozen bakers from around Chicago participated at Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro and we nearly sold out of all donated treats to raise over $2,000 for Common Pantry, Chicago's oldest continuously operating food pantry. We are now organizing for our Summer 2025 Community Bake Sale! See below for more details and to sign up.​​

Partnering with neighborhood establishments and nonprofit organizations based in and serving Chicago communities, Chi City Bakes hosts fun and impactful community bake sales throughout the city. We'll sell our treats and donate all proceeds to these importatant causes.
