At Chi City Bakes, our mission is simple - to bring the community together one treat at a time.  We aim to organize neighbors to participate in community oriented and led bake sales that raise funds for local Chicago nonprofit organizations.

Chi City Bakes' founder, Abby Lerner, is a Chicago native and former baking entrepreneur who previously helped relaunch her Mom's original brownie business from the 1980's, Linda's Magic Brownies...watch them disappear! Abby is excited to launch Chi City Bakes to connect people while baking for the better.

HOW IT WORKS

Our rotating team of local bakers will prepare for an event by baking and packaging at least two dozen units of their tastiest treats.

Community Bake Sale


Sunday, October 20th
12-4pm
@ Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro
(3905 N. Lincoln Ave.)

Items should be packaged for an estimated retail value of $5 and delivered to our staging area the day before the event

On the day of, bring all of your friends and family to our event space.  Enjoy a beer at a brewery, some music at a cafe, or many other offerings of our wonderful partners as we sell the treats and donate all proceeds to a local nonprofit organization!
